A school soccer event was held in Hohhot on March 15 to engage tennage girls in soccer training.
Since being elected as China’s pliot soccer center, Inner Mongolia has built 1,650 specialized soccer schools, and has held nearly 20,000 soccer matches.
A soccer training center, recognized as the largest in North China, is also currently under construction in Hohhot. The center will include a sports stadium, a soccer practice gym and twenty outdoor training courts.
The project has drawn a total investment of 580 million yuan ($86.8 million) from the regional government and the local financial bureau.
