Inner Mongolia has established a data system to supervise agricultural and livestock products on the market that are provided by regional food processing businesses and factories.
The data platform focuses on tracing the whole process, including the planting and farming of agricultural products, food transport and logistics, and final sales on the market.
The region now has 39 professional testing institutes whose researchers can go to factories or farms to take regular samples and conduct examinations, in order to guarantee food safety. Test results will be updated to the system in a timely manner with around 58,000 results recorded so far.
At present, over 770 businesses specializing in agricultural and livestock processing have been enrolled in the supervision system, with detailed production records uploaded to the platform.
