An array of college students from Hong Kong is expected to start a summer vacation internship program here in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, reported the Baotou Evening News on June 16.

A grand launching ceremony was held in the afternoon of June 15.

Twenty-nine college students from Hong Kong will spend a month in Baotou from mid June and will have diversified intern experience in banking, advertising, high-tech, hotels and other sectors.

During the internship period a series of activities - from a desert journey to a grassland visit - will be held to promote their understanding about the development of the Chinese mainland.

2016 marks the third year for Hong Kong students to intern on the mainland. The recruitment program is open to all college students in Hong Kong.
