Children’s choir lights up the art festival

A children’s choir from the Czech Republic won applause at the 2016 Children’s Art Festival which concluded on Aug 19 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Baotou Daily reported on Aug 24.
The closing ceremony began with a performance of Ave Maria performed by the children from the Czech Children’s Choir. The performances given covered three categories: religious songs, Czech folk songs and pop songs.
The 2016 Baotou Children’s Art Festival is comprised of theatrical performances, a music festival and a choir festival. Children’s choirs from France, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic impressed the audience with their professional performances at the one month choir starting in early July.
