The First Tumd Right Banner Dayantan Folk Culture Festival opened on Sept 12 and will run until Oct 10 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Performances including Jin opera, yangko (a popular folk dance) and Er ren tai (a kind of folk opera in which there are two performers, usually one male, and one female), will be staged during the festival.
