Baotou teenagers win recognition at music festival
Baotou Teenagers’ Symphonic Orchestra won top prize at Shanghai music festival, the only orchestra from Inner Mongolia autonomous region that has ever received the honor, reports Baotou Daily.
It is the second consecutive year that the teenagers’ symphonic orchestra has won recognition at the festival.
The International Band Festival, which is part of Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, is one of the largest and most influential music events in the world. This year’s event began in February and a total of 133 Chinese symphonic orchestras entered the final competition.
