The sixth Hasar Cultural Festival will run from Sept 16 to 17. The festival will include sacrificial offerings, cultural performances, and competitions. The competitions will mainly focus on the "three manly skills": horsemanship, archery and “Bukh” (a type of Mongolian wrestling). Habutu Hasar was one of Genghis Khan's three brothers. Hasar means someone who is a skilled archer –– a skill Hasar was known for. He was also known as Jo'chi Qasar. [Photo/Baotou Daily]
