Construction of tourism projects in Kunshan has continued with strong momentum since the New Year. A large-scale water park themed “Dream of Water” has broken ground in Bacheng town, Kunshan.

Spread across 248,000 square meters with an investment of 2.1 billion yuan ($344 million), the park will be the largest and most modern water park in the country. The project will include an outdoor water park, indoor water park, five-star hotel, convention center, and recreation and supporting facilities. The park will feature water activities, culture, leisure, ecology, sightseeing and distinctive food. The park is expected to boost Kunshan’s tourism; develop into a calling card for the city’s tourism; and satisfy the public demand for self-driving tours, one-day tours and weekend tours.
