Chinese military comics debut in Frankfurt book fair

Stories of World WarⅡ, a Chinese military comic book written by an artist from Kunshan, Jiangsu province, made its debut at the 66th Frankfurt book fair on Oct 8 as a push to show China's modern comics to the world stage.

The book features humorous cartoon figures telling the stories and secrets of World War II. It has received warm welcome from readers, with total hits of the online version exceeding 4 million.

Frankfurt Book Fair, the world's largest book exhibition, attracted 7,200 exhibitors around the world this year, including 160 from China, with the number of Chinese exhibitors setting a record since 2009.
