It's 9 am on Dec 18, ten new parking-station-based phone-call-dispatched taxies are departing from the public transit maintenance yard on Laoshan Road to seven parking stations to formally start business. With these new cars going into operation, the number of parking-station-based phone-call-dispatched taxies has risen to 40.

Pu Zhiliang, Manager of Taxi Branch of Kunshan Public Transportation Company, said that besides the increase of taxies, two new parking stations at Golden Eagle International Plaza and Auchan Supermarket had been set up. Along with the original five stations at Sanjiaota Industrial and Commercial Bank, Kunshan Hotel on Renmin Road, North Huanghe Road, Friendship Hospital, Renbao Area B, the number of the parking stations for phone-call-dispatched taxies has reached seven.

Passengers can take the taxies at the parking stations or dial the hotline 96889699-5 for reservation. Currently, these taxies charge the same price as ordinary taxies.
