To spice up this May Day weekend, Dianshan Lake town tourism authorities have planned wide-ranging activities for visitors.
The May Day itinerary will involve activities that will dive into the countryside lifestyle and water sports.

Rundown of the activities:
9:00 am: Gather at Liurudun village in Dianshan Lake town
9:00 – 10:00 am: Lobster angling and loach hunting contests
10:00 – 11:00 am: Pick organically grown vegetables and cook with wood-fired ovens
11:00 – 12:00 am: Lunch
12:00 am – 00:30 pm: Local residents teach the traditional way of making preserved eggs. Participants may try making preserved eggs on their own.
1:00 – 1:20 pm: Canoe training
1:20 – 2:00 pm: Participants practice basic canoeing skills
2:00 – 2:30 pm: Fun teambuilding games in preparation for later canoe competitions
2: 30 – 3:00 pm: Tug of war with participants sitting in boats.
3:00 – 3:30 pm: Relay race
3:30 – 4:00 pm: Canoe polo
Should it rain, participants will be shuttled to Daddy's Farm, where they will learn about botany, pick vegetables and make dumplings.
