Qingdun Neolithic Site was the first Neolithic site discovered and excavated in Nantong, Jiangsu Province.

The site is of great importance for filling in the blanks of the Nantong Neolithic culture for it has provided significant research information into the rise of Neolithic culture, and added another 3,000 years onto what was already known about the 2,000 year written history of Nantong.

Considering the high academic research value of the Qingdun relics, the county government is planning to build a 500-square-meter relic museum and a 30,000-square-meter wild elk park on the site.
