Alibaba Group, China's largest e-commerce business, hosted a campus job fair in Nantong University, Jiangsu, on Oct 29. The fair attracted over 60 enterprises from Nantong, Wuxi and Shanghai.
Aimed at the 500-odd senior students from the business school of the university, the fair offered nearly 300 job opportunities concerning business administration, international trade, e-commerce and marketing.
An HR manager from Jiangsu Gemei High-Tech Development Co in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area spoke highly of the employees from the business school, who were smart and diligent. The manager wanted to recruit more this time.
According to Liu Yu, senior customer manager of Alibaba, the group will continue to work with the business school on internships, career guidance and university-enterprise cooperation.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
