Nantong development zone holds children's painting exhibition

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), Jiangsu province, held a children's painting exhibition on Jan 17, with the aim of cultivating creativity and enriching the cultural life of children.

The exhibition displayed over 150 paintings at NETDA's art gallery, attracting more than 600 visitors on opening day.

The paintings, most of which were created by children under the age of 10, feature a variety of styles.

The event also praised over 60 children, whose paintings won awards at the recent International Children's Painting and Calligraphy Competition.

  • The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
