A total of 80 foreign trade companies involved in a wide range of businesses, including textiles and electronics, recently offered 264 positions and recruited nearly 1,300 people at a job market in Nantong, Jiangsu province.
More than 30 percent of the companies had openings for e-commerce professionals. There is a growing need for versatile talents in the local job market, according to the city’s bureau of commerce. Those who have expertise in finance, industrial design and product development were popular with foreign trade companies, local officials said.
