The final of 2015 China Nantong "Smart Building" International Startup Contest will take place in Nantong, Jiangsu province on Aug 28, informed an official.
The contest which had started in February, witnessed over 1,000 participants and 158 projects around the world, including countries like the US, Canada, Germany, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. After the preliminary and semi-final rounds, 15 projects were shortlisted for the final. The projects focused on the fields of smart building, city, home furnishing and industrial support technology.
Authorities further added that the organizer has held six promotional meetings in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Silicon Valley and Boston to attract global attention towards the contest.
By showcasing the technologies and information of international smart building, the event aims to provide a chance for startups to show their innovation and a platform for investors to communicate and make future alliance with them.
