Special equipment safety service station opens in NETDA

Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) and Jiangsu Special Research Institute in Nantong, Jiangsu province, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Nov 27, marking the establishment of a special equipment safety comprehensive service station.

Shen Hongxing, director of the NETDA management committee, attended the signing and opening ceremony.

Shen said that in recent years, NETDA has been focusing on both economic development and production safety, focusing on the safety supervision of special equipment, improving risk prevention and control systems, and effectively preventing accidents, thus creating a safe and stable environment for high-quality economic and social development to enable people to live and work in peace and harmony.

The agreement stipulated that seven service measures should be provided by the station including highlighting the security of special equipment business, facilitating local enterprises, providing comprehensive inspection services for special equipment users, and strengthening technical support to enhance the ability of personnel at special equipment supervision institutions.
