Five Taicang-based tech companies took part in a roadshow held by Taicang Science and Technology Bureau on Oct 13, seeking financial support for their further development.

The event attracted many venture investment institutions and banks, including Addor Capital, National Eastern Tech-transfer Center, China Construction Bank, and Bank of China.

Of the five tech companies, Suzhou Light is engaged in developing the latest generation fluorescent materials used in LED displays and lighting and has applied for several US invention patents. Suzhou WST Robot focuses on the integration and intelligence of robotic and automatic welding systems.

The other three companies specialize in automation technology, optics and robotics, and are all promising Taicang companies with numerous invention patents.

The roadshow event was aimed at providing opportunities for tech companies to communicate with financial institutions and helping them obtain more capital support.
