On the morning of December 30, 2015, Dr. Zhang Jianxin, vice-president of the South Africa Chamber of Commerce in Zhejiang province and vice-president of the Cape Town (in South Africa)-China Peace & United Promotion Association, paid a special visit to the Wuxi Council for Promotion of International Trade (CPIT) and had a discussion with Xu Huijuan, president of the council, about cooperation in the field of new energy.
During the discussion, they gave a simple introduction to new energy development in their respective cities and explored methods for future cooperation.
Dr. Zhang said that he will recommend the Wuxi new energy exhibition to relevant governments, agencies and enterprises in South African regions including South Africa. He also invited Xu to the new energy exhibition, which will be held in November next year.
The two sides made agreements on enhancing mutual understanding through visits among entrepreneurs and matchmakings to further develop cooperation on specific projects in new energy fields.
Dr. Zhang also talked with He Qiaofeng, director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Wuxi Municipality, during his visit in Wuxi.
