A Polish delegation led by Slawomir Majman, chairman of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency visited Wuxi on March 4, to discuss bilateral business and trade cooperation. Majman met with Wang Jinjian, deputy mayor of Wuxi, and a meeting on Poland investment was held on the same day, the Wuxi Daily reported.
Poland has sought cooperation with countries worldwide in recent years, especially with China, Majman said, emphasizing that Poland needs a stronger partner like China. Wuxi companies have explored market and development prospects abroad. The city has broad prospects for cooperation with Poland in service outsourcing, and local companies have expressed strong desire to visit and invest in Poland as well as learn more about the country's investment policies, the Wuxi Daily reported.
Majman invited Wuxi to attend the Central and Eastern European Countries Economic and Trade Forum and encouraged more companies in Wuxi and Poland to explore economic and trade cooperation.
