The Taiwan-based China Airlines opened its first flight route in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, on June 16. The flight route links Taiwan Taoyuan Airport with Wuxi Sunan International Airport and marks the airline’s establishment in Wuxi. The new route is operated by a Boeing B737 – 800 and operates on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The flight from Taoyuan (CI509) departs at 5:20 pm and arrives at Wuxi Airport at 7:30 pm. The flight from Wuxi (CI510 ) departs at 8:30 pm and arrives at Taoyuan Airport at 10:45 pm. The opening of the route will increase number of flights per week from Wuxi to Taiwan to 14. China Airlines, the largest airline in Taiwan, is the fifth airline from outside the mainland to open flight routes to Wuxi Airport this year.
