Jinji Lake route in Suzhou

As the biggest inner city lake in China, Jinji Lake provides an exciting view on any given day or night. The lakeside makes for an idyllic setting so run against a backdrop of rippling water and colorful lights.
The route circles the lake and is a moderate 16km in length. The route features plentiful rest points and is home to a musical fountain, Olive Bay and a commercial plaza. Buses and public bicycles are available along the route.

The route's main scenic site, "The Light of Lihu Lake", sits at the crossroads of Huanhu road and Taihu avenue and provides a stunningly broad view of Du mountain and Chong mountain in Turtle Head Park. Jogging or simply walking around the lake can provide a tranquil end to a day's work.
