Wuxi, Jiangsu province, recently reached an economic partnership agreement with Melbourne, Australia, according to Xinhua Daily.
Wuxi and Melbourne have previously cooperated on economic projects, with bilateral trade reaching $2.8 billion. There are 271 Australian companies in Wuxi.
The cities will exchange in businesses, personnel, and urban internationalization, and expand cooperation in urban planning and water cleaning.
