A cargo flight was launched recently by SF Airlines, using an all-cargo carrier Boeing 767-300, to transport Wuxi honey peaches, according to Wuxi Sunan International Airport.
As the flight links Shenzhen in Guangdong and Wuxi, people in South China will be able to taste fresher Wuxi honey peaches.
SF Airlines opened cargo flights last June to carry cherries from Dalian in Liaoning and Yantai in Shandong to other cities in Northeast China, North China and South China.
Well known throughout the country for being remarkably sweet, succulent and tender, Wuxi's honey peaches, especially from Yangshan, enjoys a reputation as one of the tastiest fruits in East China. The sweetest varieties of the fruit usually appear in shops in large quantities in mid-July.
