Do you ever worry that your vehicle might not be fixed well when it is at the repair shop? With the help of a "repair quality control platform", people can now observe the whole repair process on the internet.
Invented by Wuxi Infinit Technology Co, the platform allows customers to watch if their vehicles are treated properly and repair companies to monitor the repair procedures and master reservation information. It also provides vehicle management staff with repair statistics and information about workers and companies in the industry.
The platform was selected as one of the top 10 IoT programs in Wuxi in 2015 due to its effectiveness. Its inventor, Infinit, managed to combine repairs, insurance, automotive accessories, vehicle technology file management, repair quality management and transportation industry evaluation in one impressive product.
"As a high-tech company, we are dedicated to reducing management costs and increasing the profits of companies in the transport industry," said He Yadi, vice-president of Infinit. “Using advanced technologies such as big data and cloud computing, we have established a convenient and effective system to serve our customers."
Qiu Zhaowen, a professor with Chang'an University in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, said that Infinit's product was well designed because it used cutting-edge network technology. It also considers requirements from various aspects, including transportation, logistics and insurance.
Founded in 2009, Infinit was listed in the National Small and Medium Enterprise Share Transfer System in 2016. It has more than 70 workers, with almost 50 of those being researchers.
Gong Ming, Infinit's CEO, said that he abandoned everything he owned in Beijing, including his house, vehicle and permanent residence permit, to establish the company in Wuxi with two partners.
With experience working overseas and in State-owned and foreign companies in China, Gong said he came to realize that entrepreneurs should provide products that can create value for the particular industry.
"Only those products can be recognized by the public and survive in the market," Gong said. "By cutting costs for our customers, lowering risks to vehicles and providing convenience to drivers, we have earned money and been favored by investors.
"Dubbed the No 1 brand in IoT transportation, we continue to contribute to the industry."
