A multitude of Wuxi residents gathered in the city's Xinwu district yesterday morning to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year together.

Besides admiring famous national intangible cultural heritages on display, such as Huishan clay figurines, paper-cutting, print and neihua (inner painting), locals were also attracted by the prospect of tasting delicious traditional dumplings and yuanzi (sweetened glutinous rice flour dumplings).
