Residents in Wuxi, Jiangsu province have full reason to feel secure in their beloved city. A recent investigation by the Jiangsu Politics and Laws Committee showed that the city of Wuxi topped the province in residents' sense of security over the past year.
An annual conference held by the Wuxi police bureau released a series of statistics to the public, revealing the city's brilliant performance in solving cases and police services.
Criminal and civil cases including robbery, theft and fraud have respectively seen a 15 and 17 percent decline in frequency from 2015. The number for traffic and fire accidents has been cut down as well.

According to the conference, the police bureau will continue pursuing innovative methods to upgrade its security systems this year, including a trial operation of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) air patrols and the fostering of a specialized team utilizing big data technology for police affairs.
