A boat trip around the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in Wuxi is the best way to learn the city's history and feel the charms of its local culture.
The 90-minute-long cruise line from Yunhe Park to Qingming Bridge scenic area was recently created thanks to the merger of two Wuxi travel companies whom previously managed the cruise line's north and south routes respectively. The new cruise line contains 40 boats of different sizes and can handle 3,000 visitors a day. The cruise line received more than 5,000 visitors during the Spring Festival holiday.
