A: Runners with disabilities are allowed to take part in the marathon. Due to the track conditions, the event will not include a special wheelchair racing group. They should gather at the mini-marathon start point to join the event. It is suggested that runners with difficulties be accompanied during the race.
Q: How to obtain direct qualification for the marathon?
A: (1) Runners who have participated in all of the last three Wuxi International Marathons will be given direct qualification.
(2) The top 10 runners in both the men's and women's categories of 2016 Lihu Lake Half Marathon will receive direct qualification to enter the 2017 Wuxi International Marathon.
(3) According to a runners' level evaluation system launched by the Chinese Athletics Association in June 2016, those who are included in the elite category can acquire direct qualification for the marathon.
