Wuxi reading pavilions let citizens share literary favorites

The arrival of the reading pavilion follows on from a Liangxi district reading contest which will run for 50 days until July. Residents are encouraged to take part in the event by recording a favorite work of literature in the reading pavilion.

"The contest is important, but the purpose is to build up a platform for our readers to exchange literature and to promote reading in society," one contest organizer said.
