Despite the promising career, Zhao faced many obstacles during her musical road. "Her hands are too small and not suitable for playing the piano," Zhao's musical teacher told her at the very beginning. Nevertheless, Zhao still strived to what she wanted, with upmost support from her parents.

Zhao still has deep care for enlightening teenagers' music talent in her hometown, so she is planning to host several piano lectures in Wuxi to open the door for more future pianists.
