A giant "teapot" on Juqu Road, Binhu district, Wuxi, won the title of "the biggest purple clay teapot-shaped architecture" over the world by Shanghai China Records Headquarters.

The teapot building, which has a trunk diameter of 50 meters and height of 38.8 meters, was built by Wanda Group at Wuxi Wanda Cultural Tourism City, which is due to open next year.

Covering 5,000 square meters, the building has three floors for cultural exhibitions. Aluminum sheeting and glass were used for the building's exterior.

Yixing city in Wuxi is famous for its purple clay arts, especially zisha teapots.
