Wuxi opens HSK test site

Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), or Chinese Language Proficiency Test, set up a test center in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, in Dec 2014, saving local foreigners' trouble of going to the surrounding cities such as Suzhou, Shanghai and Nanjing to take the exam.
Manderinedu, a Chinese teaching institute, is the organizer of the exam in Wuxi approved by Hanban, a public institution affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education. Apart from HSK, Manderinedu also hold tests including HSKK (HSK Speaking Test), YCT (Youth Chinese Test), and BCT (Business Chinese Test).
The institute, firstly founded in Hong Kong in 2000, has years of experience in teaching Chinese and enjoys a high pass rate for its students in the HSK tests.
It has cooperated with some international organizations such as the World Food Programme (WFP) and the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry on Chinese language education programs. In 2013, it got recognitions as one of "Jiangsu Top 10 Private Education Institutes" and "Jiangsu's Most Influential Institutes" by the local media.

The former Wuxi New District, now known as Wuxi Xinwu district or Wuxi National Hi-tech district, was founded in 1992 and underwent administrative changes in 1995, 2002 and 2005.
