Some 500 exhibitors will join a renewable energy promotion event to be held in the city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province in November.

The 7th Chinese International Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition (CREC), is going to be held in the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center from Nov 5 to 7. It will showcase the booming photovoltaic (PV) industry in Wuxi and also help people better understand the application of PV technology in their daily lives.

CREC, with an area of 20,000 square meters, will display new energy technology and related products such as new energy vehicles, solar PV systems and energy-saving buildings.

According to the organizing committee of CREC, more than 30 projects about new energy power stations will be showcased. Projects totaling more than 30 billion yuan ($ 4.7 billion) will be on display, seeking investors.

Wuxi is a major base of the PV industry and national new energy technology, and has taken the lead in the PV industry in China.
