The public health department of Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, began 24-hour monitoring of water quality in two swimming pools in the city. The monitoring equipment will be installed in more swimming pools to promote health.

The water quality data will be sent to the public health monitoring department of the city. Officials will send warnings to swimmers when they find data unusual, urging swimming pool managers to improve conditions.
