Zhongjiagang recruits English-speaking volunteers

The 2013 World Snooker Zhangjiagang open will begin at the Zhangjiagang sports center in Jiangsu province on September 23, 2013.

Famous snooker players such as Ding Junhui, Liang Wenbo, Matthew Stevens and Ryan Day will come to the city for the five-day competition.

The final is set at 3 pm on September 27.

The bonus is 500,000 yuan ($81,716). The winner will get 100,000 yuan and 2,000 points.

The Zhangjiagang sports center has recruited four volunteers that can speak English. Volunteers are required to have good appearance, be fond of snooker and speak standard English, as they will communicate with foreign snooker plays and judges.

Volunteers will work from 8 am to 10 pm, September 22-27. Despite the hard work, eight people have registered to be volunteers.

The recruitment ends on the weekend. Those qualified will be informed in a few days.
