Departments of city appearance and environmental sanitation have kept ginkgo leaves to show the natural beauty of the city since 2010. This year is the first time the trial has expanded from Gusu district to other areas of Suzhou.
During the period, cleaning workers will pick up garbage and keep the leaves on the streets, but motorways will be cleaned thoroughly. In case of rain, snow or air pollution, both leaves and garbage will be cleaned.
Citizens are encouraged to give suggestions and complaints through the public service hotline 12345 or sanitation department 65106145.
