Zhangjiagang has invested more than 600 million yuan ($98.78 million) to build 174 bus stop shelters in rural areas to improve transportation facilities.

The city has built nearly 200 such shelters every year in the past few years.

An official said it is not only a shelter for people to hide from wind and rain, but also an important part of the city.
