Zhangjiagang’s urban parks, including Liangfeng Ecological Park, Zhangjiagang Park and Shazhou Park, received over 80,000 visits, a record high, during the Spring Festival holiday.

During the first three days of the holiday, both Liangfeng Ecological Park and Zhangjiagang Park received more than 10,000 tourists per day.

Other tourist attractions such as Phoenix Mountain and Fragrant Hill also experienced a Spring Festival tourism boom.

The parks’ beautiful scenery, sound facilities, excellent services and free tickets attracted many citizens. The warm weather also contributed to the tourism boom. The garden authority focused on park services to keep the parks and amusement facilities open for more than 16 hours. The parks increased environment and security efforts to provide a pleasant recreational environment for tourists.
