An art performance was held at the Poly Grand Theatre in Zhangjiagang on June 30 to celebrate the founding of the Communist Party of China, which falls on July 1. The government leaders attended to watch the performance.

Yao Linrong, mayor of Zhangjiagang, made a speech before the show. He called for all CPC members to contend for excellence in advancing the city's scientific development, ensuring social harmony and serving the public.

In the dancing and singing performances and variety show, artists displayed the sacrificial and honest spirit of Party members in their own artistic way.
