Zhangjiagang publishes Yangtze River special stamps

A launching ceremony for Yangtze River special stamps was held in Zhangjiagang's Yangtze River Culture Museum, Jiangsu province, on Sept 13. The special stamp set was issued by China Post to mark the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The special stamp set is a nine-set collection that includes sceneries of the Yangtze River, Chongqing's mountains and rivers, the Three Gorges in the Yangtze River, Yueyang Tower in Hunan province, Lushan Mountain in Jiangxi province, Huangshan Mountain in Anhui province, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou and Nantong in Jiangsu province, as well as Shanghai.

In addition, a symposium themed "Yangtze River Stamp Collection Culture" and a stamp exhibition were held. The exhibition displayed excellent stamp collections, which have received awards at home and abroad.
