Zhangjiagang athlete wins 4x100 relay gold, smashes record

An athlete from Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu province has won the women's 4 x 100 meter relay final at the 21st Asian Athletics Championship in Wuhan. Yuan Qiqi, from Zhangjiagang, was part of the winning team, along with three other Chinese athletes.
Aside from bringing home the gold, the Chinese team broke the championship record with a time of 43.10 seconds.
Yuan has become the first Zhangjiagang athlete to win a gold medal on an international level.
The 21st Asian Athletics Championship took place in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, from June 3 to 7.
