Liangfeng High School in Zhangjiagang city hosted the launch ceremony of the 2016 ANTA Jiangsu Campus Football League on April 30.

Following the ceremony the whistle blew on the first match between the home team Lianfeng High School and the away team Suzhou High School, affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University. After 90 minutes, the home team made a good start winning the match by 1-0.

The campus football league is co-organized by the provincial sports and education bureau, and sponsored by Chinese sportswear company ANTA. A total of 13 high school teams from south Yangtze River Delta will compete for this year's championship title.

It is the fourth time that the city of Zhangjiagang has hosted the football competition, playing a positive role in improving the city's teenage football level.
