Chinese Tennis Academy to set division in Zhangjiagang

The Chinese Tennis Academy, a national sports institute combining tennis training, competition, R&D and exchange located in Nanjing, has set up its Zhangjiagang division. The construction of the division will be completed by the end of the year.

The tennis academy lies in the sports park in north Zhangjiagang covering an area of 42 mu (28,000 square meters). It has an office building, a main stadium, indoor training courts and eight outdoor tennis courts totaling 5,357 square meters.
As part of the sports park, the tennis court will be open to the public in the evening.

The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the organizer of the Wimbledon Championships, also launched its teenager foster project "The Way to Wimbledon" in the Chinese Tennis Academy on May 16. Li Na, the Chinese former professional tennis player and two Grand Slam singles title winner, attended the opening ceremony to help promote the event.
