This exhibition, open from Dec 10 to Jan 10, 2017, showcases more than 100 selected works of art from masters and folk fans, and serves as an artistic and cultural gala between domestic and overseas Chinese.

"The exhibition provides a good platform to promote traditional Chinese culture, and builds a bridge connecting China and the world," said Wang Yafang, deputy secretary of the Zhangjiagang municipal Party committee.
The works on display, including calligraphy pieces and traditional Chinese oil paintings, embody the affection domestic and overseas Chinese share for the motherland, including devotion to traditional culture and eagerness for a better life.
Several excellent calligraphy works were donated to the overseas Chinese community at the port city's Economic Development Zone after the ceremony.
