Zhangjiagang earns fifth consecutive title of "national civilization city" title

Zhangjiagang city was awarded with the "national civilization city" title on National Spiritual Civilization Awards Conference held in Beijing on the Nov 17, making the Zhangjiagang China's only county-level city wins the titlethat has won the title for the fifth consecutive time.
"National Civilization City" refers to cities with a high degree of civilization and citizens' overall quality during the process of building a moderately well-off society. It is the highest honor to reflect that reveals Chinese cities' overall level of civilization level.
Addition to "National Civilization City", the port city also pocketed other national awards: Jingang town in Zhangjiagang city was awarded the title of "National Civilized Town", Nonglian village in Yangshe town won the title of "National Civilization Village", and Tangshi primary school was awarded the first national civilized campus title.
