The eastern area of the Huangsipu Eco-Park in Zhangjiagang, East China’s Jiangsu province, will reopen to the public from 9:30 to 16:00 from Jan 25 to Feb 8.
The park was closed for renovations in May 2019. So far, renovation work on landscapes and facilities such as public toilets, road lamps, and resting areas, has been completed.
A variety of plum trees have also been planted, which are expected to begin blooming during the Spring Festival.
Officials said a number of facilities for shopping, catering, entertainment, and more are currently under construction, meaning the park will be closed again on Feb 9.
The park, which was built in 2014, is divided into two areas near the Wuxi-Nantong Expressway and covers a total area of 4.7 square kilometers. It has about 2.2 sq km of green area and 1.44 sq km of water.
