The Red Leave Ceramic Cup 2011 China (Jingdezhen) Ceramics Tourism series activity is to be held in Jingdezhen, China’s Capital of Porcelain, from October 18 to 22. The grand event is expected to facilitate exchanges between ceramics and tourism business. The activity is held to seize the pulse of future tourism developments, explore the best way to integrate ceramics and tourism progress, intensify communication and cooperation of tourism administrations of China’s major ceramics production areas, promote prosperity of ceramics and tourism, and contribute to social and economic progress.
A summit forum on ceramics and tourism is to be held during the period. Chinese famous tourism experts and ceramics entrepreneurs are invited to deliver keynote speeches on the theme of win-win cooperation of ceramics and tourism. A ceremony promoting ceramic culture and tourism in leading domestic ceramics production areas will also be held, as well as the signing of the Jingdezhen declaration for harmonized development of Chinese ceramics and tourism. There is going to be field promotion activities for tourism products. Senior executives of Chinese famous hotel management groups and star-level hotels will visit the expo and its comprehensive booths, and purchase ceramics for their hotels. General Managers of travel services from Zhejiang, Anhui and Hubei provinces will visit Jingdezhen scenic areas and the comprehensive booth of city in the expo, and make group purchases.
The Red Leave Ceramic Cup 2011 China (Jingdezhen) Ceramics Tourism series activity is a major part of the 2011 China Jingdezhen International Ceramics Expo. It is the first such activity in the history of the city’s ceramics and tourism development. It serves as a platform for nationwide exchanges of tourism administrations in leading ceramics production areas. It will play a crucial role in integrating the development of ceramics and tourism.
