Jiangxi promotes tourism on Alibaba.com

On Feb 14, 2012, the Jiangxi provincial tourism administration established a strategic partnership with Alibaba.com Corporation. The Jiangxi smart tourism website (www.jxzhlyw.com) was built and is now running.
In 2012, Jiangxi plans to attract more than 190 million tourists at home and abroad with a total earning of over 130 billion yuan ($20.64 billion). Jiangxi started to promote its tourism on the Internet as well as by hosting tourism festivals and tapping into domestic and overseas markets.
Supported by Alibaba.com, the Jiangxi smart tourism website serves as a fully functional tourism e-commerce platform. It integrates Jiangxi’s scenic spots, tourist products and services.
The website provides information about attractions, traffic and transportation, and tourist routes. It can also design personalized tourist programs for individuals depending on their unique interests.
