Scientific research on the alpine meadow in Wugong Mountain begins

The Ministry of Science and Technology has allocated 5.17 million yuan ($818,411) towards technological research for the restoration for the alpine meadow ecological area in Wugong Mountain, Pingxiang of China's Jiangxi province.
The Wugong Mountain scenic spot administration initiated the scientific research project. It focuses on guiding development by promoting brands through technology and preparing applications to be recognized as a world natural heritage.
Infrastructures such as a research station for pest monitoring and control, an education base for regional climate change proximity and an alpine meadow collapse control station are planned for construction.
